Journeyman armorer

Superior Legendary Griffin Trousers are the NG+ Legendary variant of the Superior Griffin Trousers, medium witcher armor. They give 63 armor at level 27, with +13% sign intensity and +41% elemental resistance. They are an Ard Skellig find that needs level 26 beyond the NG+ starting level.

They also give +8% piercing, +11% slashing and +9% monster resistance. The regular trousers give 61 armor and +8% sign intensity. The sign bonus suits a signs build.

Set Bonus

The Griffin set is medium armor with five tiers, Basic to Grandmaster. 3 pieces: after a sign cast with stamina, the next sign within 3 seconds costs no stamina. 6 pieces: Yrden traps are 40% larger, and inside them stamina regen rises by 5/s, sign intensity by 100% and damage taken drops by 20%.

How to Get Superior Legendary Griffin Trousers

  • In NG+, follow Scavenger Hunt: Griffin School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3.
  • Find the diagram north of Giants' Toes, with the other armor diagrams.
  • A journeyman armorer crafts them.

Superior Legendary Griffin Trousers Map Location and Quest Guide

The Superior Legendary Griffin Trousers diagram sits in a chest among the rocks by a pirate camp near Giants' Toes, on the northeastern tip of Ard Skellig. The pin marks the chest, which also holds the armor, gauntlets and boots diagrams of Scavenger Hunt: Griffin School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3. In New Game +, this legendary diagram replaces the standard one at the same spot.

  1. Buy Edwin Greloff's third map from the armorer in Hierarch Square to start Scavenger Hunt: Griffin School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 3.
  2. Travel to the northeastern tip of Ard Skellig, near Giants' Toes.
  3. Kill the pirates camped along the coastline.
  4. Go to the last campfire and use Witcher Senses to find the chest among the rocks nearby.
  5. Loot the chest for the Superior Legendary Griffin Trousers diagram.
