Journeyman armorer

Enhanced Legendary Griffin Trousers are the NG+ Legendary variant of the Enhanced Griffin Trousers, medium witcher armor. They give 47 armor at level 19, with +12% sign intensity and +37% elemental resistance. Their diagram is in Velen, and they need the NG+ starting level plus 18.

They also give +7% piercing, +10% slashing and +9% monster resistance. The regular trousers give 45 armor and +6% sign intensity. The sign bonus suits a signs build.

Set Bonus

The Griffin set is medium armor with five tiers, Basic to Grandmaster. 3 pieces: after a sign cast with stamina, the next sign within 3 seconds costs no stamina. 6 pieces: Yrden traps are 40% larger, and inside them stamina regen rises by 5/s, sign intensity by 100% and damage taken drops by 20%.

How to Get Enhanced Legendary Griffin Trousers

  • In NG+, follow Scavenger Hunt: Griffin School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 1.
  • Find the diagram in a chest in the Burned Ruins east of Crow's Perch.
  • A journeyman armorer crafts them.

Enhanced Legendary Griffin Trousers Map Location and Quest Guide

The Enhanced Legendary Griffin Trousers diagram sits in a chest half hidden in a large pile of burnt wood at the Burned Ruins in Velen. The pin marks the chest, a stop of Scavenger Hunt: Griffin School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 1. It is the New Game + counterpart of the Enhanced Griffin Trousers diagram and lies at the same spot.

  1. Buy Edwin Greloff's First Map from the armorer in Midcopse. It starts Scavenger Hunt: Griffin School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 1 and marks every diagram spot.
  2. Go to the Burned Ruins, near the Shrieker's cave.
  3. Find the large pile of burnt wood in the ruins.
  4. Loot the chest half hidden in the pile for the Enhanced Legendary Griffin Trousers diagram.
