Whatsoever a Man Soweth... is the final main quest of Hearts of Stone. Geralt has granted all three of Olgierd's wishes. Professor Shakeslock of the Oxenfurt Academy knows a way to cheat Gaunter O'Dimm. Geralt then meets Olgierd at the Temple of Lilvani, where O'Dimm comes to collect Olgierd's soul. Geralt must decide whether to stand aside or to challenge O'Dimm himself.

Whatsoever a Man Soweth... map location:

Meet Olgierd's man at the Alchemy Inn.
Talk to Shani at her home, if wanted.
Follow Shani to the Academy and enter the grounds.
Climb the ladders along the wooden platforms and blast the upper door open with Aard.
Take the stairs down and talk to Professor Shakeslock.
Meet Olgierd at the Temple of Lilvani.
Choose to help Olgierd or to stay out of it.
To help, find the solution to Master Mirror's riddle in his dark world.
Follow the path past the specters toward the manor on the hill.
Pull the Viper Venomous Silver Sword from the stone on the way, if wanted.
Inside the manor, ignore the mirrors that shatter and find the dry fountain.
Use Aard on the wall behind the fountain.

Choices

Professor Shakeslock reveals that O'Dimm loves a wager and can be beaten at one. At the temple, Geralt can use this knowledge to save Olgierd. He wagers both their souls on a riddle in O'Dimm's dark world. Solving it in time sets Olgierd free and breaks the pact.

Geralt can also stay out of the deal. The pact is then fulfilled, and Olgierd's life comes to an end.
