Wolven Silver Sword - Mastercrafted is the Mastercrafted tier of the Wolven (Wolf School) silver sword, witcher gear from the base game. It deals 409-499 damage at level 34. Its diagram is at the hidden treasure marker south-southwest of Kimbolt Way in Crookback Bog, Velen. It belongs to the late game.
It gives +10% sign intensity, +10% adrenaline gain, +10% crit chance, a 10% chance to cause bleeding and +20% bonus experience from monsters, with 3 rune slots. The mix of sign intensity, adrenaline and bleeding suits a bleeding hybrid build, which the Wolven set bonuses also reward.
Against the Superior tier, it raises sign intensity, adrenaline gain and bleeding chance from 7% to 10%, and crit chance from 5% to 10%.
Set Bonus
The Wolven set is medium armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 14, Enhanced at 21, Superior at 29, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The 3-piece and 6-piece bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a school set. 3 pieces: each bleeding effect on an enemy raises sword damage by 1% per set piece worn. 6 pieces: each adrenaline point raises how many bleeding effects can stack on one enemy.

The pin marks a hidden treasure south-southwest of Kimbolt Way in Crookback Bog, Velen. A fiend guards the spot, and the Wolven Silver Sword - Mastercrafted diagram sits in a chest behind a locked wooden door. It turns up during Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 5.
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 5 by finding any of its diagrams, or by buying the worn-out and faded notes from Éibhear Hattori.
- Go to the hidden treasure south-southwest of Kimbolt Way.
- Kill the fiend that guards it.
- Loot the corpse near the wooden door for a key and notes.
- Unlock the door and loot the chest at the back of the small room for the silver sword diagram.

Notes
In NG+ the diagram makes Legendary Wolven Silver Sword - Mastercrafted instead. It needs level 34 plus the NG+ starting level, with a minimum of 59, and deals 634-774 damage at level 59. Its sign intensity, adrenaline gain, crit chance and bleeding chance rise to 15%.
