Aftershock

Aftershock
Aftershock
Class Body Perk
Attribute Body
Tier Phenom (15)
Levels 1
Requires Quake
Affects Only affects Blunt Weapons

Aftershock pays stamina back for every enemy caught in a ground slam. Quake is expensive to use and this perk makes a crowded room refund the cost several times over. It is a blunt weapon pick near the top of the Body tree. Builds that fight groups rather than individuals gain the most.

Effect

The refund counts enemies hit, so the value scales with how many are standing close. Against one target it is a small return and against a squad it is most of the bar.

That turns the slam from a finisher into something that can be used again. Stamina is what limits a blunt weapon build, and a move that pays for itself in a crowd removes that limit at exactly the moment it matters.

How to Unlock Aftershock

It sits behind the Phenom gate of the Body tree. Quake has to be bought first, because the slam this perk reads is Quake's.

Perk Tree

Aftershock is bought from Quake in the Body tree.

Name Image Tier Effect
Quake Quake Phenom (15) -15% Stamina cost for attacks with Blunt Weapons.

Buying Aftershock opens the perks below.

Name Image Tier Effect
Ripple Effect Ripple Effect Phenom (15) +15% Health for each enemy hit by Quake.

Character Builds

It belongs to the blunt weapon Body build that fights crowds, which is what the ground slam is for. A heavy club with wide reach suits it, and the build should already own Quake and its blocking perks.

Buy it at the Phenom gate with Ripple Effect in mind, since the two read the same hits and one returns stamina while the other returns health. Epicenter then makes the slam wider from a height, which raises what both of them pay.

Notes

Ripple Effect reads the same hits and returns health instead of stamina, so the two are usually taken together.

Epicenter makes a slam performed from a height hit harder and wider, which also means more enemies caught and more stamina back.
