Edgewood Farm

Edgewood Farm
Type Defunct farmstead
Region Badlands

Edgewood Farm is a dead dairy farm in the eastern Badlands, on the edge of a swampy wood. It once belonged to the Harris family. Years later it became the hiding place of a serial killer known as Peter Pan.

History

The Harris Family

The farm was built to a standard Petrochem design. The Harris family joined a Biotechnica farming scheme, which supplied their cattle and bought everything they produced. The deal was poor, but it kept the farm safe from rival corporations. Even with constant tinkering by Biotechnica's scientists, the cows never did well in the modern Californian climate. The dangers of the Badlands forced the family to guard the barn and the house with turrets.

Anthony Harris grew up here. His mother had died long before, so he and his father ran the farm alone, and he went to the public school in nearby Laguna Bend. After his father died, he was taken in by a foster family in Laguna Bend.

Peter Pan

Anthony came back as an adult and turned the empty farm into a prison. He kept his victims in the old barn like cattle.

Inside Edgewood Farm

A concrete wall with an iron fence, turrets and mines surrounds the whole property and its three buildings. Swamp covers most of the ground around it. Inside the barn, the cages where Harris kept his victims are still standing.
