Glutton For War pays V for killing. Every enemy neutralised gives back a slice of the recharge on health items and grenades at once, so a fight that goes well keeps both supplied. It is the first pick in the Technical Ability tree and the whole supply branch is bought through it. Grenade builds and support builds start here.

Effect

Health items and grenades both work on a recharge rather than a stock, which means the question is never how many V is carrying but how soon the next one is ready.

Tying part of that recharge to kills makes the supply follow performance. A fight with plenty of bodies in it hands back most of the timer, while a single difficult enemy hands back almost nothing, which is exactly the opposite of how a fixed cooldown behaves.

How to Unlock Glutton For War

It sits behind the Rookie gate of the Technical Ability tree, so the first points V puts there reach it. Nothing is bought ahead of it.

Perk Tree

Buying Glutton For War opens the perks below.

Name Image Tier Effect
First Aid First Aid Rookie (4) +15% recharge speed of Health Items when you've only used 1 charge.
Health Freak Health Freak Pro (9) +8% recharge speed for Health Items and grenades.
Transfusion Transfusion Rookie (4) +30% Health from the final charge of your equipped Health Item.

Character Builds

The build is one that raises Technical Ability for the supply rather than for the weapons. It carries a health item it expects to spend and a grenade it expects to throw, and it kills often enough for the refunds to add up.

Buy it with the first points that reach the Rookie gate, then First Aid and Transfusion to round out the health items. Health Freak at the Pro gate is the next real step, and the explosives branch above that is where the build's damage eventually comes from.

Notes

First Aid and Transfusion refine health items, and Health Freak above it takes the whole branch further by raising charges as well as speed.

Grenades are what the Technical Ability attribute improves, along with Tech weapons and the Projectile Launch System.
