The MaxTac Officer is a soldier of MaxTac, the elite division of the Night City Police Department that hunts cyberpsychos.
Lore
MaxTac has a single aim: eliminate cyberpsychos. Those it does not kill outright go to Los Padres, a prison built to hold them. Its officers get their pick of weapons, the best cyberware and prototype gear, and a free hand in their operations. Other police divisions keep MaxTac at arm's length. When it arrives, there are sure to be casualties, and any investigations are sure to be dropped.
Most MaxTac officers are chromed out loners with one goal in life. Some say the line between them and the cyberpsychos they hunt is a fine one. Rumour even has it that the rare cyberpsychos taken alive are quietly reprogrammed and welcomed into the division.
Behaviour
A MaxTac Officer is a big, heavily armed shotgunner. MaxTac officers carry the best gear the NCPD has, and a fight with them is a fight against the strongest the police can send.
