Seeing Double

Seeing Double
Seeing Double
Class Reflexes Perk
Attribute Reflexes
Tier Pro (9)
Levels 1
Requires Lead And Steel
Affects Only affects Blades

Seeing Double rewards V for countering rather than attacking. A counterattack with a blade hits harder and is far more likely to stun. It belongs to the blade branch of the Reflexes tree. Builds that block and answer get more out of it than builds that swing first.

Effect

A counterattack is the swing that follows a well timed block. It is already the safest attack a blade build has, and this perk makes it the strongest as well.

The stun is the more valuable half. A stunned enemy is open to a finisher, and the blade branch has a finisher of its own further up, so the counter becomes the opening move of a kill rather than an exchange of damage.

How to Unlock Seeing Double

It sits behind the Pro gate of the Reflexes tree and is bought from Lead And Steel.

Perk Tree

Seeing Double is bought from Lead And Steel in the Reflexes tree.

Name Image Tier Effect
Lead And Steel Lead And Steel Pro (9) -15% Stamina cost attacks with Blades.

Buying Seeing Double opens the perks below.

Flash And Thunderclap Flash And Thunderclap Pro (9) When performing Strong Attacks, you now automatically leap to enemies within range. These Leap Attacks can be also performed from midair and deal additional damage that scales with the distance of the leap (max +50%).

Character Builds

It suits a defensive blade Reflexes build that blocks and answers rather than opening every exchange. A katana with fast recovery is the weapon.

Buy it at the Pro gate from Lead And Steel, and keep it in mind for Flash And Thunderclap, which needs it bought. Opportunist at the Phenom gate reads the stun this perk applies, so the counter becomes the first half of a finisher rather than an exchange of damage.

Notes

Opportunist higher in the tree makes stunned enemies easier to finish, and this perk is what applies the stun.

Flash And Thunderclap also needs it bought, so the perk sits on the way to the leap attack.
