Shinobi Sprint makes the crouched sprint almost free during a fight. Most of its stamina cost disappears once combat has started. It sits in the stealth branch of the Cool tree. It is the perk that lets a stealth build keep moving after being found.

Crouch sprinting costs stamina, and that cost is what stops it being used as a way of moving rather than a way of closing one gap.

Cutting it during combat is a deliberate choice by the game. Out of a fight there is time to walk, and in one there is not, so the perk arrives exactly where it is needed.

The build is a stealth build that keeps moving after being found, which is how a stealth run survives a mistake.

Buy it at the Phenom gate from Ninjutsu, before Serpentine if points are short, since an unaffordable sprint is not used at all. Style Over Substance at the Legend gate guarantees critical hits with a thrown blade during the same sprint.
