Steven Santos

Steven Santos
Type	Side Character
DLC	Phantom Liberty

Steven Santos is a risk assessment officer in Brazil's intelligence service, met in Phantom Liberty. He is a patriot who will give up a lot for his country, if not his life then at least his self respect.

Biography

---

Santos knows when a mission is in danger and when to look the other way. He meets every unpleasant choice with the same excuses: if he does not do it, someone else will, and that is just how the system works. When his conscience gets too dirty, he tries to clean it up, but never too much.

The game's Database sums him up as a loyal subordinate: a risk assessment specialist who knows not only when a mission is in jeopardy, but also when to look the other way and keep things quiet.

Jobs

---

Santos is part of Spy in the Jungle and The Show Must Go On.

Endings

---

If V sided with him in Spy in the Jungle, Steven later sends a cheerful invitation to meet in Night City, calling himself "a man of reason" and thanking V for choosing the only reasonable option. Johnny has a less flattering view: to him, Steven is a coward too afraid to hurt anyone in a suit, and his handshake will be slimy.
