Street Cred

Street Cred is V's reputation in Night City. The in-game Database calls it the measure of V's reputation in the city. As it grows, V gains access to new vehicle offers and vendor discounts beyond the reach of small time punks. In the game's own words, building Street Cred makes a name for V in the Night City underworld and opens up new opportunities.

Raising It

Certain actions reward V with Street Cred. Jobs pay it out: main jobs, side jobs, gigs, NCPD scanner hustles and cyberpsycho sightings all add Street Cred along with eddies and experience. Each job page on this wiki lists what it pays.

What It Unlocks

Fixers offer more gigs as V's Street Cred rises. Vendors give discounts, and some vehicles on the Autofixer site can only be bought once V's reputation is high enough.
