The Golden Lightning Fortification is an Erdtree incantation in Elden Ring. It only turns up late in a run, in Crumbling Farum Azula.
Golden Lightning Fortification is an incantation of Erdtree Worship, used by the knights of the Erdtree during the assault of the great ancient dragon Gransax and the bitter War of the Ancient Dragons that followed. It sharply cuts lightning damage taken for the caster and nearby allies for 70 seconds, by less against players, and holding the prayer delays activation. It arrives right before the most lightning-heavy area of the game, Crumbling Farum Azula, and the Dragonlord, one of the most lightning-focused bosses. As a body buff it will not stack with others of that type. It suits co-op groups and any build facing ancient dragons and their red lightning.
Effect
Cuts lightning damage taken by 60% for the caster and nearby allies for 70 seconds. Each cast costs 30 FP and 20 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
