The Law of Causality is a Golden Order incantation in Elden Ring.
Law of Causality is one of the incantations of the Golden Order fundamentalists, embodying causality, the pull between meanings that links all things in a chain of relation. It grants a buff for two minutes that retaliates with a holy explosion around the caster once they take five damaging hits in quick succession, knocking enemies back. Damage over time, self-inflicted damage and fully blocked attacks do not count toward the trigger, and its fixed damage does not scale with any stat. Because it only requires Intelligence, pure intelligence builds without the Faith for most seals can still cast it with the Frenzied Flame Seal. It suits players who expect to take frequent hits, such as tanky melee builds in crowded fights.
Effect
Grants a buff for 120 seconds that explodes for 487 holy damage around the caster after five hits are taken. Each cast costs 22 FP and 20 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
How to Get Law of Causality Guide
Law of Causality is given by Sir Gideon Ofnir, the All-Knowing after Mohg, Lord of Blood is defeated and he is asked about the Lord of Blood's cocoon. If missed, the Twin Maiden Husks sell it after Maliketh, the Black Blade is defeated.
- Defeat Mohg, Lord of Blood.
- Return to the Roundtable Hold and talk to Sir Gideon Ofnir, the All-Knowing.
- Ask him about the Lord of Blood's cocoon to receive Law of Causality.
