Merchant Kalé is a character in Elden Ring.
Merchant Kalé is the first merchant most Tarnished meet, camped in the ruined Church of Elleh in Limgrave. He sells basic gear, ammunition, cookbooks and the Crafting Kit that unlocks crafting. He also teaches the Finger Snap gesture after the howl in the Mistwood is heard. That gesture is the key to meeting Blaidd.
Lore
Kalé is a wandering merchant who has set up camp in the ruined Church of Elleh.
His people are the nomadic merchants, once the Great Caravan, who were spurned by grace long ago. He knows Blaidd and thinks him a good soul for all his rough manners.
