Messmer's Orb is a Messmer's Fire incantation in Elden Ring. It is one of the expansion's additions, found in the Land of Shadow.
Messmer's Orb is an incantation of Messmer the Impaler, who despised his own fire and hoped time and again to be rid of it, yet it never stopped burning. The caster leaps up and forms a giant orb of Messmer's flame that soars at the foe, burning anything it touches on the way, then crashes into the ground and explodes after a brief delay. The explosion knocks enemies down and charging increases both its power and how far it travels, with a much larger blast. The cast has no hyper armor and cannot be used on horseback, while the Fire Knight's Seal, Messmer's Helm, the Fire Knight armor and the Godfrey Icon all boost it. It suits Messmer's flame faith builds that want a heavy area finisher.
Effect
Leaps up and forms a giant orb of Messmer's flame that soars at the foe, crashes into the ground and explodes after a brief delay; charging boosts power and range. Each cast costs 31 FP and takes up two memory slots.
How to Get Messmer's Orb Guide
Messmer's Orb is obtained by trading the Remembrance of the Impaler, dropped by Messmer the Impaler, with Finger Reader Enia at the Roundtable Hold.
- Defeat Messmer the Impaler to obtain the Remembrance of the Impaler.
- Travel to the Roundtable Hold and talk to Finger Reader Enia.
- Trade the Remembrance of the Impaler for Messmer's Orb.
