The Messmer Soldier Armor is a piece of chest armor in Elden Ring. It belongs to the Messmer Soldier Set. It is part of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.

The Messmer Soldier Armor is worn by soldiers who serve Messmer the Impaler, a ragged cloak draped over rusted mail. Its chest plate bears a Scadutree design within a ring of eight studs, engraved in gold as a small consolation to those forced to wage a war without grace or honor. The chest piece is of medium weight with good poise and robustness. It suits melee builds in the Realm of Shadow, and altering it removes the cape.

Stats

It carries 18 poise at 9.2 weight.

Altering

Its altered form, Messmer Soldier Armor (Altered), weighs 8.1 instead of 9.2 and keeps the same 18 poise. Altering works at any Site of Grace.
