Miriam's Vanishing is a Carian sorcery in Elden Ring. It comes from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Miriam's Vanishing is the sorcery of a preceptor who served the Carian royal family, the curator of the study hall whose mastery of it gave it her name. It hides the caster in a glintstone haze and brings them back a moment later at a nearby spot set by the direction held before casting, or in the same place with no input. Its invulnerability window is one of the longest of any action in PvE, and another spell can be started during the final moments as the caster reappears. The invulnerability starts shortly after the cast rather than instantly, there is a brief delay before it can be used again, and in PvP it breaks opposing lock-on until the caster returns. It suits casters who want a magical alternative to rolling for dodging big attacks.
Effect
Hides the caster in a glintstone haze and makes them reappear a moment later at a nearby spot chosen by the direction input, with a long window of invulnerability. Each cast costs 9 FP and 10 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
