The Redmane Knight Armor (Altered) is a piece of chest armor in Elden Ring. It belongs to the Redmane Knight Set. It is a mid-game find in Redmane Castle.

The Redmane Knight Armor (Altered) is the altered form of the armor of the knights who fought by General Radahn's side, who burned the crest on the left breast to show their resolve after Malenia's scarlet rot drove them to defeat. Altering it at a Site of Grace or with Boc removes the cloak, leaving the bare armor of Radahn's knights. The altered version is about a point lighter with almost the same defense and identical poise, a heavy chest piece with strong fire resistance. It suits strength and quality builds that want the Redmane look without the cape, and it drops from Redmane Knights.

Stats

It carries 24 poise at 10.8 weight.

Altering

Its unaltered form, Redmane Knight Armor, weighs 11.8 instead of 10.8 and keeps the same 24 poise. Altering works at any Site of Grace.

Notes

"Armor worn by knights who fought by General Radahn's side. When they were driven to defeat by Malenia's scarlet rot, the Redmane Knights burned the crest on the left breast of their armor to indicate their resolve. 'Alas, dear home, I shan't see you again! For our duty is to remain here, a bulwark against the blight.'"
