The Veteran's Armor (Altered) is Commander Niall's battle-worn chest armor from Castle Sol with its cape removed. Altering the armor strips away the cape, which lowers its weight slightly and reduces its defense, resistances and poise a little compared to the original. The result is a sleeker, still heavy chest piece that shows off the horned plate beneath, close in look to the Banished Knight armor. It suits heavy builds that want Niall's armor without the cape, or players fine-tuning equip load while keeping most of the protection.
