A Tool For Underwater Mining is a Blacksmith quest in the Veilwater Basin. Gold for the Capital once came from the town of Orville, where pearl divers mined it underwater. Drak'Dal have since overrun the town. The divers fled underwater to old shipwrecks across the bay, and their Mining Sieve is still hidden there. The sieve is the tool for mining underwater.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Finish Emerald Shores And Sanguine Seas, then speak to the Blacksmith.
- Travel to Orville in the Veilwater Basin.
- Search the town for clues. Drak'Dal hold it now, so expect fights.
- Read the clue about the pearl divers, who fled underwater towards the far shore of the bay.
- Swim to the shipwrecks near Orville and search them for the Mining Sieve.
The divers stayed underwater to stay hidden, so the wrecks lie below the surface. Watch the air bar while searching them.
Prerequisites
This quest opens after Emerald Shores And Sanguine Seas, a quest from the Flame. That quest leads through a passage from the Albaneve Summits into the Veilwater Basin. Clues in a nearby settlement point to an old sea captain. His soul lies on an island at Ol' Captain's Rest, and summoning him brings the Fisher to the base. With the new region open, the Blacksmith wants a way to mine gold under water. Many gold shipments to the Capital once came from the town of Orville.
