Rescue
The Flame gives the quest after Illuminate The Night, once the Flame Altar reaches level 8. The way leads through a passage into the Veilwater Basin. Clues at the nearby tavern, Ol' Salt 'N Pepper, point to an old sea captain. His remains lie on an island across the lake, by a dragon skeleton at Ol' Captain's Rest.

Lore
Captain Melville Fontane is a retired sea captain who became an innkeeper and fisher. He ran the tavern Ol' Salt 'N Pepper. Locals knew him for tall tales, such as hiding inside a beached sea dragon's mouth. He once ran through the square shouting that the Drak had returned.
Notes
Fishing starts with the Hunter's quests. Melville the Fisher then takes over with better rods and bait. The Hunter's quest Unknown Waters teaches the basics with fireflies as bait and a simple rod. Melville then crafts fishing bait in common, uncommon, rare and epic tiers, and better rods such as the Lucky and Excellent fishing rods. His quests Nice Day For Fishing and Lucky Catch reward those rods. He also makes diving gear, such as the Diving Helmet and the Swimfins.
