Find The Sleeping Survivor is the second quest of the game and the first trip through the Shroud. The Flame senses a survivor waiting to be woken in the Ancient Vault - Blacksmith. Reaching it means crossing the Shroud before the timer runs out. The survivor is the Blacksmith, who makes weapons and armour.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Finish Claim A Spot For Your Base.
- Follow the marker through the Shroud to the Ancient Vault. Keep an eye on the Shroud timer.
- Find the sleeping survivor inside the vault and wake him.
- Summon the Blacksmith in the base with the Summoning Staff.

Prerequisites
This quest opens after Claim A Spot For Your Base, the very first quest from the Flame. Embervale has fallen to the Shroud, and the Flame asks for a Flame Altar to reclaim the land. A promising site in the plains is marked on the map, but any spot above the Shroud works. The Flame Altar marks the base, where crafting and building become possible. After the altar is placed, the Flame speaks of survivors who wait to be roused.
