Gem of Corruption is an epic weapon gem in Enshrouded that marks enemies with each hit, stacking up to five times. When the marks stop stacking or the enemy dies, the target explodes in Shroud damage, and more stacks mean a bigger blast. It suits fast attackers who pile hits on one foe before moving on. It drops from the Fell Banshee in the Kindlewastes and is set at the Gem Forge with Archaic Essence.
Effects
Every hit adds a mark to the enemy, up to five marks. The marked enemy explodes when the marks stop stacking for a moment, or when it dies. Each extra mark makes the blast bigger and stronger. The blast deals Shroud damage, so it works on Scavengers, Vukah and beasts, while the Fell are immune to it. Upgrading the gem at a Gem Forge raises the damage of the blast.
How to Get Gem of Corruption Guide
The Fell Banshee of the Kindlewastes drops this gem. Banshees are common in the Shroud of the desert. They haunt Elixir Wells, abandoned villages, Gem Forges and Shroud Roots. A Banshee glides through the air and fires homing bolts of Fell magic. Ranged weapons reach it best, and fire hurts it more than usual.

It can also be caught while fishing with Scarab. It turns up rarely, in place of a fish.
