Elixir Wells are pits where the Shroud pours out into Embervale; a Shroud Root waits at the bottom.
Where to Find Elixir Well - Map Location
Elixir Wells are found in every biome: Springlands, Revelwood, Nomad Highlands, Kindlewastes, Albaneve Summits and Veilwater Basin.

What's Inside
- The Shroud Root at the bottom is guarded by a mini-boss; the first well has a Fell Thunderbrute.
- Return Beacons sit on the large metal structures leading down to the root and refill Shroud time.
- Wells are full of Fell enemies around the entrance.
- Some wells have stronger guardians, such as a Fell Cyclops in Albaneve Summits and Fell Monstrosity in Umber Hollow.
How to Unlock
The Blacksmith's quest Clear The Elixir Well sends you to the first well, east of Braelyn Bridge.
Rewards
- Clearing a well gives 3 Skill Points to every nearby Flameborn.
- Skill Points from a well are paid only once, even after the world resets.
- Clear The Elixir Well pays the Fell Thunderbrute Head, a Skill Point and 150 XP.
Tips
Glide straight to the mouth of the well, drop in, kill the guards and chop the root with an axe.
Notes
In multiplayer, players must be online and nearby when the root falls to get the point.
