Wax is a Material Resource found in Enshrouded. Wax is used in furniture crafting recipies.
How to get the Wax
You can get Wax by destroying and looting Bee Hives, which can be found attached to trees in most biomes; you'll also get Honey.
Once you unlock the Honey Beehive you can harvest it for a more consistent supply of Wax and Honey. The Honey Beehive can be unlocked by proceeding the Farmers Questline.
