Ashlands Ruins are broken Grausten structures found all over the Ashlands. You can tear them down for Grausten, and Fiddleheads and Smoke Puffs grow among them.
Where to Find It
They come in five designs. Fortress ruins, up to 100 per world, spawn within 70 m of a Charred Fortress or of other fortress ruins. Ash ruins, also up to 100, need solid Ashlands ground and keep 16 m apart. The three tower ruins have up to 30, 40 and 30 per world, on ground with no more than 4 m of height difference, and the third keeps 500 m from others of its kind. All of them stand at or above sea level and start out damaged by a random amount.
What's Inside
Fortress ruins and ash ruins are built from 20 to 30 randomly chosen pieces. The first tower ruin grows up to 86 Fiddleheads, which regrow every 5 hours, and up to 4 Smoke Puffs, which regrow every 4 hours. The third tower ruin has a 50% chance of a Monument of Torment. The walls break for Grausten, while the foundations only take pickaxe damage, although a Morgen or Lava Blob fighting nearby can break them too.
