Smoke Puff is a pale mushroom that grows around boulders and ruins in the Ashlands. It is one of the very few things in that biome you can pick up and eat on the spot.
How to Get It
Walk the Ashlands and look near rocks and around Charred Ruins. You pick each puff by hand, no tool needed, and the patches regrow after roughly four hours, so a regular circuit keeps you stocked. Getting there at all means crossing the southern sea in a Longship and landing on a coast that shoots back, so fire resistance and a plan for the beach matter more than the picking does. Eaten raw it gives only 15 health and 15 stamina for 15 minutes, which is thin fare, but it earns its place as an ingredient.
