Roofs come in a shallow and a steep pitch, and the shallow one is twenty six degrees. The Ashwood Beam 26° is the angled beam cut to exactly that pitch, found in the Supports tab. Use it to carry a shallow roof from below, brace a gable end or run a diagonal strut where a straight beam cannot reach.
How to Build It
Each piece costs one Ashwood, which makes angled framing the cheapest part of any Ashwood build, though you still need a Workbench in range to place it. Watch the angle. A twenty six degree beam lines up with twenty six degree walls and roof pieces and nothing else, so pick a pitch before the first beam goes down and keep the whole roof to it. Otherwise you will be left with gaps that no piece in the menu can close.
