The Ashwood Quarter Wall is the smallest panel in the Ashwood set, a metre square for a single Ashwood, and it exists to close the gaps the bigger walls leave behind. Anyone who has framed a gable or walled in the space under a stair knows it as the Walls piece you place last, three or four at a time.
How to Build It
Each one costs one Ashwood, with a Workbench in range. They are cheap, but each one still has to reach the ground through something, so frame the opening with poles and beams and fill it in afterwards. Ashwood neither rots in the rain nor burns, which is why it is worth hauling home from the Ashlands for walls that stand outdoors.
