The Grausten medium arch spans two metres and stands two metres tall, twice the reach of the small arch. It costs four blocks of Grausten and sits under Supports. Use it for a hall doorway, a bridge opening or the bays of an arcade, anywhere you need to cross a span without a pillar in the middle.
How to Build It
It takes four blocks of Grausten, and a Stonecutter has to be in reach for placing it and for every repair after. At two metres square it is big enough to frame a gate, so measure the piers before you commit. The arch only sits right when the stonework on either side is raised to exactly its height. One course too many or too few means pulling the wall apart, not the arch.
