The Grausten tapered pillar narrows as it climbs: two metres of Grausten on a one metre footprint for five blocks of stone. It stops a run of columns looking like a stack of boxes. It sits with the plain pillars under Supports, ready to take over where a straight shaft should start drawing in.

How to Build It

You need five blocks of Grausten and the usual Stonecutter in range to place and repair it. At two metres it uses up height quickly, so treat it as the upper stage of a column rather than the base. Set it on a grounded pillar or a wall that reaches the earth, because a stone piece only gets support from whatever climbs up to meet it.
