The Stone Wall 2x1 is twice the width of the smallest block and the workhorse of the Walls tab. It costs four Stone and covers ground far faster than stacking singles. Most stone houses are built mostly from this piece, laid in courses from the footing up to the eaves.
How to Build It
The block costs four Stone and needs a Stonecutter nearby. By area it works out cheaper than the 1x1, so lay the long runs with these and keep the small block for filling in. Build the courses up from the earth, because stone draws its support from the ground and from other stone, not from anything wooden underneath.
