When you want a steep roof, Thatch Roof 45° is the panel that does it. It is the sharper of the two thatch slopes and, like its shallow twin, costs two lengths of Wood apiece. The steep angle sheds rain faster and gives a hall the tall Nordic silhouette most builders are after, but it eats headroom you might have wanted for an upper floor.
How to Build It
It costs two wood, and the only requirement is a Workbench in range for the Hammer to work from, which also covers repairs. Commit to the angle early, because 45° panels join only other 45° pieces, and the corners and ridge caps each come in a matching steep version for exactly that reason. Exposed thatch loses condition in bad weather, so walk the roofline with the hammer now and then instead of waiting for daylight to show through.
