Cap a steep roof with Thatch Roof Ridge 45° and the two faces finally meet in a clean line instead of an open seam. It is the sharp-angled ridge of the thatch set and costs two lengths of Wood, like everything else under Roofing. It is the piece that makes a tall gabled longhouse look finished rather than abandoned mid-build.
How to Build It
It takes the same two wood as the rest of the set and the same Workbench in range, and you lay it with the Hammer. Fit it to 45° slopes only: the shallow ridge is a separate piece, and the two will not line up along the same apex. Run the ridge before you furnish the interior, because an unfinished peak lets rain straight through onto every wooden thing underneath and starts it rotting from the top down.
