The Wood Wall Half is a thin board from the Walls section of the build menu, half the height of a standard panel and cut from a single Wood. Builders reach for it when a full wall would be too much: waist-high partitions, porch railings you can still shoot an arrow over, and the low course that runs under a line of windows.
How to Build It
One Wood is the whole cost, and a Workbench has to be standing within build range before the Hammer will place it. It deliberately leaves the top of the wall open, so everything behind it sits in the weather. Bare wood takes rain damage and slowly rots, so run an eave or a roof above any half wall you plan to keep.
