Blade From The Bits is a steel sword in Common, Master, Magic and Relic variants. The Relic variant gives +50% crit damage and has 3 rune slots. Eibhear Hattori gives it to Geralt after Of Swords and Dumplings in Novigrad. The crafted Magic variant is mid game at level 25, and the Relic lands close to the character's own level.
The Relic variant's level is at least 2 below the character's level when it is received, and usually no more than 4 levels under. Its damage then scales with the character's level, so it keeps pace with levelling. Its 3 rune slots hold three runestones or one runeword, which fills all three slots of a sword.
The shop and loot variants have 1 rune slot. The Master variant adds 1 random Master effect and the Magic variants add 2 random Magic effects. The crafted Magic variant deals 207-253 damage at level 25.

Blade from the Bits Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks Of Swords and Dumplings, a secondary quest that starts at Éibhear Hattori's home in Novigrad. The relic Blade from the Bits is Hattori's reward for clearing the way for him to forge master swords again. Hattori needs about six hours after the quest to finish it.
- Ask a blacksmith about master swords, or visit Hattori's home in Novigrad, to start the quest.
- Meet Hattori at the docks after dusk and follow him to Tinboy, the King of Beggars' man.
- Negotiate with Tinboy, then kill Cleaver's men when they attack and follow Hattori through the alleys.
- Knock on Hattori's door. He asks for a bodyguard and names the pirate Sukrus.
- Find Sukrus fighting outside The Golden Sturgeon. Settle his brother-in-law's debt on the ship off the main dock, with Axii or by smashing the mead barrels with Aard.
- Return to Hattori, then meet Sukrus after dark at Ernst van Hoorn's warehouse near The Golden Sturgeon.
- Get past the dwarf at the door and mark the three crates inside with Witcher Senses.
- Defeat van Hoorn and his bandits outside. Stay close during the fight, or the quest fails.
- Return to Hattori, then come back about six hours later to collect Blade from the Bits.
