Bowdon is an abandoned village north of the Isolated Hut and northeast of Yantra. King Heribert the Quarrelsome founded it by royal order. The king was very drunk when he was asked to point out the spot on a map. He jabbed his finger into the middle of a swamp. The settlers soon left the unpleasant bog. Vagabonds and bandits moved into their empty homes. The quests Rose on a Red Field and From Ofier's Distant Shores take place here.
