Journeyman armorer

Enhanced Legendary Ursine Gauntlets are the NG+ variant of Enhanced Ursine Gauntlets, heavy Bear School witcher gear. They give 57 armor and +12% adrenaline point gain at level 26. Their diagram is at the ruins southeast of Fort Etnir in Skellige. They are late-game gauntlets.

They also give +6% piercing, +6% slashing, +4% monster and +7% elemental resistance. Against the regular Enhanced gauntlets, they double adrenaline gain from 6% to 12%. That suits an adrenaline build.

Set Bonus

The Ursine set is heavy armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 20, Enhanced at 25, Superior at 30, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The 3-piece and 6-piece bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a school set. 3 pieces: when a Quen shield breaks, a new one may be cast at no stamina cost, with a 5% chance per set piece worn. 6 pieces: damage dealt by abilities that involve Quen rises by 200%.

How to Get Enhanced Legendary Ursine Gauntlets

  • In NG+, start Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 2.
  • Go to the ruins southeast of Fort Etnir and northeast of Rogne, and take the diagram.
  • A journeyman armorer crafts them.

Enhanced Legendary Ursine Gauntlets Map Location and Quest Guide

The Enhanced Legendary Ursine Gauntlets diagram sits in a chest in the tower of an unmarked ruin northeast of Rogne and southeast of Fort Etnir, on Ard Skellig. The pin marks the chest, one of three stops of Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 2. In New Game +, this legendary diagram replaces the standard one at the same spot.

  1. Buy Ibrahim Savi's second map from the armorer at Kaer Trolde to start Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 2. It marks all three diagram spots.
  2. Ride to the unmarked ruin northeast of Rogne and southeast of Fort Etnir on Ard Skellig.
  3. Climb the stairs on the north side up to the tower.
  4. Loot the chest in the tower for the Enhanced Legendary Ursine Gauntlets diagram.
