Enhanced Ursine Gauntlets are the Enhanced tier of the Ursine (Bear School) gauntlets, heavy witcher armor from the base game. They give 55 armor at level 25, with +6% adrenaline gain. The diagram is at the ruins southeast of Fort Etnir in Skellige. They are a mid-game piece of Bear School gear.

They also give +3% piercing, +3% slashing, +2% monster and +3% elemental resistance. Compared with the basic Ursine Gauntlets, they add 10 armor and raise adrenaline gain from +5% to +6%. The adrenaline gain suits an adrenaline build.

Upgrading from the basic tier keeps their glyphs.

Set Bonus

The Ursine set is heavy armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 20, Enhanced at 25, Superior at 30, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The set bonuses come with the Grandmaster tier. 3 pieces: when a Quen shield breaks, there is a chance a new one is cast at no stamina cost, rising by 5% per set piece. 6 pieces: damage dealt by abilities that involve Quen rises by 200%.

How to Get Enhanced Ursine Gauntlets

  • Follow Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 2.
  • Find the diagram at the ruins southeast of Fort Etnir and northeast of Rogne.
  • A journeyman armorer crafts them from the basic Ursine Gauntlets.

Enhanced Ursine Gauntlets Map Location and Quest Guide

The Enhanced Ursine Gauntlets diagram sits in a chest in the tower of an unmarked ruin northeast of Rogne and southeast of Fort Etnir, on Ard Skellig. The pin marks the chest, one of three stops of Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 2.

  1. Buy Ibrahim Savi's second map from the armorer at Kaer Trolde to start Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 2. It marks all three diagram spots.
  2. Ride to the unmarked ruin northeast of Rogne and southeast of Fort Etnir on Ard Skellig.
  3. Climb the stairs on the north side up to the tower.
  4. Loot the chest in the tower for the Enhanced Ursine Gauntlets diagram.
