Griffin Silver Sword - Mastercrafted is the Mastercrafted tier of the Griffin School silver sword, witcher gear from the base game. It deals 409-499 damage at level 34, with +20% sign intensity. Its diagram is in the western tower of Kaer Dhu on Ard Skellig. It is a late-game Griffin blade.
It also gives +25% crit damage, +5% crit chance, +10% chance to dismember and +20% bonus experience from monsters. Compared with the Superior tier, it raises sign intensity from +15% to +20% and adds +5% crit chance. The sign bonus suits a signs build. It has 3 rune slots.
Upgrading from the Superior tier keeps its runestones, but a runeword is lost.
Set Bonus
The Griffin set is medium armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 11, Enhanced at 18, Superior at 26, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The set bonuses come with the Grandmaster tier. 3 pieces: after a sign cast with stamina, the next sign within 3 seconds costs no stamina. 6 pieces: Yrden traps are 40% larger, and inside them stamina regen rises by 5/s, sign intensity by 100% and damage taken drops by 20%.

The pin marks Kaer Dhu, the ruins east of Fornhala on Ard Skellig. The Griffin Silver Sword - Mastercrafted diagram sits in a chest in the western tower, to the left of the archway. It turns up during Scavenger Hunt: Griffin School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 4.
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Griffin School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 4 by finding any of its diagrams, or by buying Edwin Greloff's fourth map from Éibhear Hattori.
- Go to Kaer Dhu, east of Fornhala. Visit by day to avoid the ulfhedinn that prowls there at night.
- Enter the western tower.
- Loot the chest in the small area to the left of the archway for the silver sword diagram.
