Kaer Dhu is a ruined fortress in central Ard Skellig. It lies in a valley across the lake from the abandoned village of Fornhala. Nekkers have a den in the old castle. Ulfhedinn prowl the area, and a Cockatrice may turn up too.

History
A secret passage in the castle leads into old mine tunnels. The tunnels come out on the other side of the mountain, south of Fayrlund. The body of the alchemist Klaus Kellerman lies in these tunnels. Sir Robert de Mere had paid him to catch a certain nekker. The nekker wore a torn shirt with the monogram of Sir Robert's son. That nekker is also found in the tunnels.
