Hanged Man's Tree is a large tree east of Mulbrydale in Velen. Bodies hang from its branches as a reminder of the war. During the war, both sides committed terrible cruelty to keep the conquered people in line. Geralt first arrives in Velen at this spot, after his audience in Vizima.
