Hunting Boots are boots from the base game, in Common, Master, crafted Magic and Relic variants, plus a starter pair. The starter pair is worn at the start of a new game. The Relic variant rolls +5-6% adrenaline gain. The starter pair and the crafted variant are early game, while the other variants take their level when they drop or go on sale.
The starter pair is medium armor, unlike every other pair, which is light. It gives 1 armor at level 1, +1% slashing and +2% elemental resistance.
The Common variant gives 5-10 armor plus 2 per level, with +1% piercing, +1% bludgeoning and +1% slashing resistance. The Master variant gives 6-9 armor plus 2 per level, +2% slashing resistance and 1 random Master effect. The crafted Magic variant gives 8 armor at level 1 and 2 random Magic effects. The Relic variant gives 9-11 armor plus 2 per level, with +3% to each physical resistance.

How to Get Hunting Boots
- Starter: They are worn at the start of a new game.
- Master: One pair is always in the big chest next to the grindstone in the Nilfgaardian Garrison. The soldiers there attack when it is taken. Merchants sell them, and they drop as random loot.
- Common: The merchants who sell the Master variant sell these too. They also drop as random loot.
- Relic: They drop as random loot only.
Notes
In NG+ the crafted variant needs level 1 plus the NG+ starting level plus 1, with 7 armor plus 2 per level.
