The Legendary Griffin Steel Sword - Superior is the NG+ variant of the Griffin Steel Sword - Superior. It is witcher gear from the base game. It deals 234.4-286.4 damage at level 27 and gives +23% sign intensity. Its diagram is behind a shrine just west of Yngvar's Fang in Skellige. It requires level 26 above the NG+ starting level.
It gives +23% sign intensity, +50% crit damage, +10% crit chance and +5% XP from humans and nonhumans. The sign intensity suits a signs build. It has 3 rune slots.
Set Bonus
The Griffin set is medium armor with 5 tiers. 3 pieces: after a sign cast in standard mode with stamina, the next sign cast within 3 seconds costs no stamina. 6 pieces: Yrden traps are 40% larger, and inside the trap stamina regeneration rises by 5/s, sign intensity by 100% and damage taken drops by 20%.
