Legendary Wolven Armor is the NG+ variant of Wolven Armor. It is medium witcher chest armor from the base game. It gives 230 armor and +22% adrenaline gain at level 39. Its diagram is in a cave beneath the old signal tower in Kaer Morhen. It is late game at level 14 plus the NG+ starting level.
It gives +22% adrenaline gain, +19% piercing, +17% bludgeoning, +24% slashing and +26% monster resistance. The adrenaline gain suits an adrenaline build.
Set Bonus
The Wolven set is medium armor with 5 tiers. 3 pieces: each bleeding effect on an enemy raises sword damage by 1% per set piece. 6 pieces: each adrenaline point raises how many bleeding effects can stack on one enemy.
How to Get Legendary Wolven Armor
- In NG+, play Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear in Kaer Morhen.
- Enter the cave beneath the old signal tower. The diagram lies there with the boots, gauntlets and trousers diagrams.
- A journeyman armorer crafts the armor.
Legendary Wolven Armor Map Location and Quest Guide
The Legendary Wolven Armor diagram lies on a skeleton in a cave reached through Hieronymus' portal in the old signal tower, just south of the Kaer Morhen signpost. The pin marks the diagram spot, the armor stop of Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear. In New Game +, this legendary diagram replaces the standard one at the same spot.
- Buy the slightly torn notes from the blacksmith in Lindenvale, or Éibhear Hattori's map, to start Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear.
- Go to the old signal tower just south of the Kaer Morhen signpost. It sits on a steep cliff, so ride down the valley and back up to reach it.
- Climb over the wall inside and up the scaffolding, then loot the chest on the first level for Hieronymus' notes and read them.
- Squeeze through the crack in the tower wall and climb the outer scaffolding to take the polished crystal from a ledge.
- Mount the crystal in the portal mechanism and charge it with Aard.
- Charge the second mechanism on the other side with Aard to stabilize the portal.
- Jump through the portal into the cave and kill the wraith near the exit.
- Loot the skeleton for the Legendary Wolven Armor diagram.
