Legendary Wolven Gauntlets are the NG+ Legendary variant of the basic Wolven Gauntlets, medium witcher armor. They need at least level 39 and give 83 armor at that level, with +11% sign intensity. They need level 14 plus the NG+ starting level, with the diagram near Kaer Morhen.

They also give +5% piercing, +6% slashing, +4% monster and +12% elemental resistance. The regular gauntlets give 33 armor and +5% sign intensity.

Set Bonus

The Wolven set is medium armor with five tiers, Basic to Grandmaster. 3 pieces: each bleeding effect on an enemy raises sword damage by 1% per set piece. 6 pieces: each adrenaline point raises how many bleeding effects can stack on one enemy.

How to Get Legendary Wolven Gauntlets

  • In NG+, start Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear.
  • Find the diagram in the cave beneath the old signal tower near Kaer Morhen, with the other armor diagrams.
  • A journeyman armorer crafts them.

Legendary Wolven Gauntlets Map Location and Quest Guide

The Legendary Wolven Gauntlets diagram lies on a skeleton in a cave beneath the old signal tower, a ruin just south of the Kaer Morhen signpost, reached through Hieronymus' portal in the tower. The pin marks the diagram spot, a stop of Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear. It is the New Game + counterpart of the Wolven Gauntlets diagram and lies at the same spot.

  1. Start Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear by finding any of its diagrams, or by buying the Slightly Torn Notes by Hieronymus from the blacksmith in Lindenvale.
  2. Go to the old signal tower just south of the Kaer Morhen signpost. Ride down the valley and back up to reach it, and watch for erynias on the steps.
  3. Go straight in, climb over the wall and up the scaffolding to the first level. Read Hieronymus' Notes from the chest there.
  4. Climb through the crack in the wall to the right of the exit. Follow the outer scaffolding and take the Polished Crystal from the ledge above.
  5. Mount the crystal in the portal mechanism and charge it with Aard. Then hit the opposite mechanism to steady the portal.
  6. Jump through the portal and kill the wraith near the cave exit.
  7. Loot the skeleton for the Legendary Wolven Gauntlets diagram. The other three armor diagrams of the set are on it too.
