Legendary Wolven Steel Sword is the NG+ Legendary variant of the basic Wolven Steel Sword, witcher gear from the base game. It needs at least level 39 and deals 320.8-392 damage at that level. It is a Kaer Morhen find that needs level 14 on top of the NG+ starting level.
It gives +11% sign intensity, +11% adrenaline gain, +11% crit chance and +11% bleeding chance, plus +5% bonus experience from humans and nonhumans. The regular sword gives 5% to sign intensity, adrenaline gain and bleeding chance. The mix suits a bleeding hybrid build. It has 1 rune slot.
Set Bonus
The Wolven set is medium armor with five tiers. 3 pieces: each bleeding effect on an enemy raises sword damage by 1% per set piece. 6 pieces: each adrenaline point raises how many bleeding effects can stack on one enemy.

- Take the diagram that lies with Varin's journal.
- A journeyman blacksmith crafts it.

It replaces the standard diagram at this spot in New Game +, during Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear, and an amateur blacksmith crafts the sword from it.
- Start Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear by finding any of its diagrams, or by buying the slightly torn notes from the blacksmith in Lindenvale.
- Travel to the Bastion near Kaer Morhen.
- Kill the wraiths that come out to attack.
- Head inside to the burned wooden remains.
- Loot the skeleton for the steel sword diagram and Varin's journal.
