Legendary Wolven Trousers are the NG+ variant of the Basic Wolven Trousers, medium Wolf School witcher gear. They give 87 armor at level 39, with +11% attack power and +11% sign intensity. Their diagram is in the cave beneath the old signal tower in Kaer Morhen. They are late-game trousers, wanting level 14 past the NG+ starting level.

They also give +9% slashing, +8% monster and +33% elemental resistance. Their armor rises by 2 per level. Against the regular Wolven Trousers, they raise attack power and sign intensity from 5% to 11% and elemental resistance from 17% to 33%.

Set Bonus

The Wolven set is medium armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 14, Enhanced at 21, Superior at 29, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The 3-piece and 6-piece bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a school set. 3 pieces: each bleeding effect on an enemy raises sword damage by 1% per set piece worn. 6 pieces: each adrenaline point raises how many bleeding effects can stack on one enemy.

How to Get Legendary Wolven Trousers

  • In NG+, start Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear.
  • Reach the cave through the portal in the old signal tower, using the polished crystal and Aard. The diagram lies there with the armor, gauntlets and boots diagrams and some notes.
  • Have an armorer craft them.

Legendary Wolven Trousers Map Location and Quest Guide

The Legendary Wolven Trousers diagram lies on a skeleton in a cave reached through Hieronymus' portal in the old signal tower, just south of the Kaer Morhen signpost. The pin marks the diagram spot, the armor stop of Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear. In New Game +, this legendary diagram replaces the standard one at the same spot.

  1. Buy the slightly torn notes from the blacksmith in Lindenvale, or Éibhear Hattori's map, to start Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear.
  2. Go to the old signal tower just south of the Kaer Morhen signpost. It sits on a steep cliff, so ride down the valley and back up to reach it.
  3. Climb over the wall inside and up the scaffolding, then loot the chest on the first level for Hieronymus' notes and read them.
  4. Squeeze through the crack in the tower wall and climb the outer scaffolding to take the polished crystal from a ledge.
  5. Mount the crystal in the portal mechanism and charge it with Aard.
  6. Charge the second mechanism on the other side with Aard to stabilize the portal.
  7. Jump through the portal into the cave and kill the wraith near the exit.
  8. Loot the skeleton for the Legendary Wolven Trousers diagram.
