Lurtch is a village of free farmers in Velen, east of Lindenvale. The land once held the estate of the Evves family. Back then, the area bore the name of Lord Evves' wife, Mortilanca. When the couple died, their will gave the land to their serfs. The grateful peasants founded a village of free farmers. They named it after their first ealdorman, Lurtch, who had once been the family's butler. Yontek and Yagoda live in the village. The quest Fools' Gold takes place here.
